Eric Fowlers Final 5 day in Ukraine. April 5th to 9th

Eric fowler’s final 5 day in Ukraine.
April 5th to 9th of April.
Days are slipping by, so. “ Teach us to number our days”.
Weather cloudy, dull, windy and cool.
Maria, the blind lady came for clothing and we gave her some funds extra as very very poor. We bought
a stove for her once. We had a meal with her since we came and had nice talk with her son and mom. Went to Walmart and bought food and called Lesia to come for food and pick out clothing.  Luba and Maria her daughter came for a meal and more clothing and time of fellowship. Then Oleg and Olia came and we went to a special place for a nice meal and time together. Sasha and Volodia went with us.
 April 6th
Our last Lord's day here. Sasha went with us and Yaroslav with Luba and daughter. We made it there safe and meeting went well. It was Edmond's last Lord's day as well for some time and Saints sad.  I spoke on Ps. 22 and encouraged them to keep near the Cross and worship Him from the heart.
Landed safe back safe in Ivano Frankisk and rested some and prepare for meeting. I thought because of the rain the crowd would be small but one of the biggest crowds, 34 out. We had 63 different ones out over the time here. The Lord is the one who gives the fruit and only Heaven will show.  We decided to have meeting  on Tuesday  as the following week Howard and  Malcolm get in on the 15th but may to stay in Lviv until Sunday day and go back Sunday night, so no meeting In Ivano until following Sunday.

 April 7th
Early rise an read together with Volodia, he said he likes the reading in the morning. We have enjoyed the month and it's gone fast. Loaded the van with clothing  for the two homes in Sniatin, the boys home and the man's home. Went to the market and got cleaning products and toilet paper for each place.  We took some before to men's home but there is never too much now as they get little or no funds from Government. How will things carry on is hard to know. We had a meeting at the Men's home on the Two way chart. Over 40 were there of the workers and the residents. It went very well as it was a special day  for all the nation to call on God, so a great timing for the meeting. At boy’s home the Government men turned up again.
We were surprised when we went to Yaroslav's  brother’s for the first time to get potatoes and had lunch there and we meet some of his relatives. They were very kind even thought they have no time for the Gospel. Left tracts, so God is able. Then visited Halia's mom and had visit there.  We were late getting back to the city and had planned some visits, in the afternoon but my telephone ran out of power and we were too late.
Day over after a rough ride over the amazing roads!! We are so blessed in our home land. We need to
pray we don't lose it.

April  8th.
Every day has it's cares and burdens. We are coming to the end of the days here. So much to be done and some of it will have to wait for others to do. Where are the youth of our day? This work is for the healthy and strong for sure.
Bright day and up early to get ready to go to Peter's village. Loaded clothing and the shower we bought for the school  and left at 9. We had nice visit there even though the principle is in hospital sick.  The vice principle was too away in meetings with Government officials. They have dogged my steps this time for sure.  They are preparing for elections but fears are they will be stopped by Moscow. Spoke to children from 2 road chart on the door. Had lunch with teachers. Went to see the mayor but not in. We left clothing with the office manager. Mayor was away with Government men again.
Then we came back into town and picked up some fruit and juice and went to visit the Principle of school in Peter Village. She was so happy to see us she just could not keep the tears back. Six ladies in one little room, what a mess and that is the big regional hospital.
Went and got food to make supper as Leanna and Marina were to come but never came.  While Margie and Sasha was making supper. Volodia went and took food to Tanya, and Evon and their  family, he is the man with half his leg gone.
Meeting was still large for the time of year 29 out. La st meetings are never easy. Many tears from the group.  Volodia took the blind ladies home as usual and  Margie and I went back to apartment and allowed a man and his wife to come for clothing. Crises times across the country and all feel it . On street there was an open air speech from an Army group. I gave some Canadian flag with John 3:16 on it and also the Ukraine flag and told them I was praying for them and that my youngest brother was in Canadian Army.Who knows where the verse will  go and what it will do. I remember giving many NT to Army in Russia, Only God Knows.
.April 9th
7 o'clock and up to go to Kaloush, to take Leanna to put flowers on her father’s grave. We have been working with her for a number of years with slow progress. She has come out to meetings a few times but her daughter hasn't come at all. We went with her into the graveyard and it was very large. Took some time trying to locate her father’s grave. Then we went and saw her mom for first time.   We had tea with them and had a wee talk.
Came back into town and dropped her at her home. She was very wet from the much rain.
Went to baby's hospital and dropped of a box of baby clothing and pampers with the Head nurse to give to poor ladies.
Went to apartment and got some clothing and potatoes things someone else gave us for Halia  a very poor lady. Then took L uba and her family to the village to see her mother in law. Had nice visit for sure.  Back to apartment and packed for Canada. Sad to   have to leave but God was good for sure in his care and protection and help for the month here.
Then in Lviv for the final meeting. I gave them a word of  encouragement to be faithful  even if War comes and it just may come. This may be the Lost report from Ukraine, one day left and one day to fly. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us.  THANKS FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS OF US WHILE HERE.
